2002 Porsche 911 C4S (996) Tiptronic S Coupe: 1 of a reportedly 1,974 C4S Coupes to have been produced for the U.S bearing the 2002 model year designation. A beautiful example displaying an odometer reading of a low 17,XXX miles, a Clean CARFAX Report, while benefiting from a recent and complete servicing rendered by our in-house Porsche Tech with 30 years of expertise (servicing specifics are available upon request) and featured an original MSRP of $90,805 with a build sheet listing the following equipment: AM/FM Radio with CD Player; Black Full Leather; Black Mats - Porsche lettering; Advanced Technic Package; Self-Dim Mirrors & Rain Sensor; Heated Front Seats Package; Sport Seats w/Full Leather Int; Arctic Silver Metallic Top; Spt Seat Backs-Lthr Cvrd Intr.
Why It's Special: Introduced In 2002 and concluded in 2005, the 996 C4S marked the return of the 'S' version and wide-body, 'Turbo-Look', for the 996 chassis, as this was last witnessed on the 911 993's '2S' and '4S' Carreras (the 996 C4S currently stands as the last Carrera to feature the Turbo's styling). Featuring the 996 Turbo's wide-body, front and rear bumpers, wheels, turbo specific all-wheel-drive, suspension, and braking system, but sans the turbo's rear spoiler, twin-turbocharged powerplant and weight, the C4S instead sports a naturally-aspirated flat-6, a deploying Carrera-style spoiler and the instantly recognizable rear reflector strip (the strip along with the iconic wide-body are pure Porsche styling characteristics that are now standard issue on the 911 992). With an even sleeker appearance and naturally aspirated vigor, the C4S offers the Turbo's notable aesthetics and near driving dynamics but in a package that is sensuously simplified and wholesome!
Upon viewing the exterior of the curvaceous C4S', your presence is welcomed by its arresting and form flattering Arctic Silver Metallic finish; turbo borrowed front bumper; xenon headlights; a streamlined gas lid that's understatedly integrated into the right fender; 18-inch Turbo-look wheels; the rear's wide haunches; a decklid incorporated spoiler that automatically deploys at speeds of around 77 MPH and lowers at roughly 37 MPH; the model's signature reflector strip situated in between the taillights; dual exhaust outlets that subtly protrudes from the turbo borrowed rear bumper. The C4S is an incredibly attractive car and when looking at the rear, you'll instantly understand why it is regarded as having one of the best rear end designs in the 911 lineup.
Just before slipping inside of its classic Black Full Leather adorned cabin, you're first met by black door sills with 'Carrera 4S' insignia and when inside, one of the first things that'll catch your attention is the supple leather that extends onto the dashboard, door regions and rear cabin wall areas and you can expect to find light-colored twin-stitching and brushed aluminum/metallic-coated surfacing on select areas with carpeting completed in black. The driver is faced with a 3-spoke steering wheel; a leather covered instrumentation hood with black instrumentation dials situated behind orange needles; the Tiptronic S shifter. Front occupants are embraced by perforated Sport seats featuring back shells in leather and heating functionality and can expect in-cabin audio playback via the BOSE Audio System, featuring 11-speakers.
